Greyhound Terminal model in plaster by Chisel & Mouse

Condition: this model was displayed at CaixaForum Madrid and CaixaForum Barcelona, and was returned in its current status. Several brass frames are dented inwards, and some of these original frames are missing (See pictures). Bends could be fixed with care as the thin brass pieces are soft and malleable. The old Greyhound Terminal was built as a terminal for Greyhound Bus Lines. Greyhound cleverly adopted the beautiful Art Deco, streamlined shapes of the 1930s to suggest speed, style, and forward thinking. The building was designed by William S. Arrasmith and completed in 1940. Made of strong plaster that has a reassuring weight and smooth and cool feel. Window frame and railings are made of etched brass. Handmade in Sussex, England. Regency Town House model in plaster made by Chisel & Mouse

This model was exhibited twice in the museum shops of Caixaforum Madrid and Barcelona (2016), and it is sold well packed without the original packaging. Perfect condition. The Regency Town House, 13 Brunswick Square, Hove, is a fine example of the regency movement of the late 18th and early 19th century. The house, completed in the mid-1820s, is Grade 1 listed and has been painstakingly restored to its former glory by "The Brunswick Town Charitable Trust" and now acts as a living museum to the period and area. Charles Busby was the architect responsible for the house, the square, and surrounding regency "new town". The development is instantly recognizable as belonging to Brighton and Hove. It has stood the test of time and remains one of the most desirable parts of Brighton and Hove in which to live. Made of strong plaster that has a reassuring weight and smooth and cool feel. Handmade in Sussex, England. See all Chisel and Mouse collection here.

Centre Point model in plaster made by Chisel & Mouse

This model was exhibited twice in the museum shops of Caixaforum Madrid and Barcelona (2016), and it is sold well packed without the original packaging. Perfect condition. Centre Point is a Grade II listed concrete and glass building standing at the center of London's West End. The 34-floor, 385-foot tower was not well received by the public and remained unoccupied for five years! It was built as speculative office space by property tycoon Harry Hyams and became a symbol of the property industry's greed. It withstood years of criticism but has flourished in recent years, being described by the Royal Fine Art Commission as having an 'elegance worthy of a Wren steeple'.  It is currently being re-purposed as a landmark luxury residential development. With its distinctive concrete pattern, Centre Point remains one of London's most recognizable buildings. Made of strong plaster that has a reassuring weight and smooth and cool feel. Window frame and railings are made of etched brass. Handmade in Sussex, England. See all Chisel and Mouse collection here.

  • Trellick Tower model in plaster handmade by Chisel & Mouse

This model was exhibited twice in the museum shops of Caixaforum Madrid and Barcelona (2016), and it is sold well packed without the original packaging. Perfect condition. Erno Goldfinger's Trellick Tower is a Grade II listed 31-story block of flats in North Kensington. The tower is built in a narrow oblong with a separate lift tower linked at every third story to the main block. Its Brutalist design was not to everyone's taste and was unpopular with many of its council tenants. However, over the years, the building has become highly desirable and home to up-and-coming designers and entrepreneurs. The building is striking and now has a place in architectural history as London's most iconic tower block. Made of strong plaster that has a reassuring weight and smooth and cool feel. Detailed and proportioned finish. Handmade in Sussex, England. See all Chisel and Mouse collection here.

Completed in 1902 the building was built using a unique steel skeleton which became the prototype for many skyscrapers that followed.
