Known as Le Corbusier, Charles Edouard Jeanneret deeply concussed the architecture and urbanism history during the 20th century. He was also a painter, a sculptor a designer, and the author of several books. Born in 1887, in Switzerland, he obtained the French citizenship in 1930. He died in Roquebrune-Cap-Martin in 1965.
