William Morris Flowers poster, displaying his designs, by PSTR

Digitally printed on 250 gr museum quality paper with vivid colour and exceptional detail, suitable for home, office, museum, or gallery display

This is one quality printed tribute to the pioneering and prolific life of late William Morris.

Born in 1834 in East London, Morris was a British textile designer, poet, novelist, translator and socialist activist associated with the British Arts and Crafts Movement. He was a major contributor to the revival of traditional British textile arts and methods of production. Besides, his literary contributions helped to establish the modern fantasy genre, while he helped win acceptance of socialism in fin de siècle Great Britain.

Known for his wallpaper and textile design with clear inspiration in natural motives, his collection of designs based in colorful flower patterns, plant whirls and birds, symmetrical or filled with motives, set the foundation of the Arts & Crafts movement and are used even today because of their exact, timeless and elegant character.
