Trellick Tower model in plaster handmade by Chisel & Mouse
Erno Goldfinger’s Trellick Tower is a Grade II listed 31-story block of flats in North Kensington. The tower is built in a narrow oblong with a separate lift tower linked at every third story to the main block.
Its Brutalist design was not to everyone’s taste and was unpopular with many of its council tenants. However, over the years, the building has become highly desirable and home to up-and-coming designers and entrepreneurs.
The building is striking and now has a place in architectural history as London’s most iconic tower block.
Made of strong plaster that has a reassuring weight and smooth and cool feel.
Handmade in Sussex, England.
